In order to prove the effectiveness of our strategy, we had to compete directly with the company’s efforts on Yelp and Angie’s List. This meant that our budget was far less to start than we would have preferred. However, we knew active management would prove effective.
We began by building the client a new website to replace the dated version he had been using. This included SEO and ongoing content marketing. We also launched AdWords with fully granulated campaigns.
After 90 days, we beat out both Yelp and Angie’s List and moved a portion of their budgets into AdWords.
