“Let’s Get Chicago’s Businesses Online”
Hosted by Google’s G.Y.B.O. Team, Lift Conversions & More
According to data from search engines – including our host’s own – only 37% of businesses can be found online – even less have accurate information. Those numbers are far too high. Couple that with the fact that 4 out of 5 consumers use search engines to identify products and services they’re considering purchasing and you can see the true extent of the problem.
There’s no getting around the fact that small to mid-sized businesses are the most directly affected by the transition from print advertising and self-sustaining brand identity to the dynamic, even chaotic, world of digital marketing. Long gone are the days of “Set & Forget”, yet, unfortunately, many small businesses missed the memo, and still expect their online static footprint to do the job for them. Sadly, it won’t work anymore – even if you’ve been successful for 50 years. Times have changed.
Luckily, there are groups like the GYBO Team at Google, among others, who’re willing to put together events like this with their partner agencies. These events are meant to give small businesses a chance to, not only learn the basics of their listing, but deep-dive into the potential benefits to actively managing their identity in the digital landscape. Plus, we share insights into everything from best practices to tips for successfully getting your brand recognized on a budget.
Come out this Monday, July 17th and join us for an event meant to give diversity and business a chance to succeed in an ever more digital world. We’ll be there with plenty of enthusiasm, doing our best to help businesses reach their true potential. Join us and we’re sure you’ll come away with something you can use to better your own bottom line. Plus, you’ll meet some incredible people and have a good time, too. That’s our promise, so come out and hold us to it.
